Spending time giving value and meaning to something, only to realize that the things you are forced to do to live overshadow that very work.Artists work tirelessly on passion projects, thinking of them not as work but as side projects.
That essential work has been reduced to quirks, hobbies, a side activity to be worked on during occasional nights. It represses our very identities, and is political whether we want it or not.It feeds a disgusting narrative for what art should be.

Refusing to let money dictate our lives does not mean the work should not exist, for this is what we would instantly do for a living if we had the smallest chance in doing so.Nothing's about profiting on time spent, rather about significance. This is what which has value, and what makes us who we are, what we already dedicate our lives to. This is what we want to be.It shouldn't take a lifetime for that to happen.
